Events

The Robotics Olympics is designed to allow students of all ages and ability levels to participate and feel successful. Some events require only basic building skills. For instance, the "College: Your Rise to Success" is a ramp competition and last year a 4th grader won the bronze medal in the event. Other events present significant building and programming challenges. "Carry Your Books" requires the use of a light sensor, a rotation sensor and three motors. Finally, events are designed to be attractive, interesting and challenging for male and female students.
