TechBoston Professional Development
In the summer of 2005, TechBoston, in collaboration with Northeastern and Tufts Universities, will hold a professional development workshop for 30 Boston Public School teachers. This workshop will feature a new robotics program designed to instruct 7th and 8th grade students in engineering and IT concepts. The workshop will run the weeks of August 1 and August 8, 2005. BATEC IT Futures Forum
The second BATEC IT Futures Forum will be hosted by Sun Microsystems at their Burlington, MA facility on January 13, 2005. This day-long program will include featured speakers from industry, a showcase of new and emerging technologies and products, and workshops in both technology and pedagogy.
